Rooted in Christ Missional in our love for the world Compassionate as we
love and serve others

Many cultures.
One body.

We are found on the prairies of Central Illinois and other US states from Washington to Florida. We are found in the verdant mountains of Colombia and in the jagged mountains of Northern Mexico.

We pray in English, Spanish, and the Karen language of Myanmar. We came to this diocese from Puerto Rico, Myanmar, South Africa, Ecuador, and the Netherlands.

We are blessed to be a varied and vibrant collection of churches and people. And most importantly, we are one body, a part of God’s one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church.

We invite you to come worship God with us. You’ll surely find a place within our dynamic diocese.

We go in peace to love and serve the Lord

A rich history.
A bright future.

Founded in 1835 as a missionary diocese on the frontier, our mission and ministry reaches across the United States and around the globe.

Our roots run deep in our faith in Jesus Christ and in the teachings and traditions of the historic Church.

We follow Jesus’ call to go and make disciples of all peoples, whether across the street or across international borders.

In all we do, we strive to do in the love of Jesus, having hearts like Jesus, and treating others with the compassion Jesus has for all people.
